Our portfolio spans 3xLOGIC, PACOM, and Sonitrol, with a combined legacy of over 100 years protecting people, property, and assets.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>We&rsquo;re seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering Manager to lead our QA/Testing center of excellence in Fishers, Indiana. &nbsp;In this role you will work to become an expert on our products and play a key role in helping ensure our software and hardware products are of the highest quality.</p><p>&nbsp;Attention to detail, troubleshooting and debugging skills as well as the necessary experience are key to success in this role. &nbsp;Excellent written and verbal communications skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are pre-requisites for success in this role. &nbsp; The ability to work with different stakeholders and translate requirements into test plans and cases is critical.</p><p>&nbsp;The ideal candidate will have people‑management experience and be able to work hands‑on while providing leadership in the implementation of complex testing solutions.</p><p>&nbsp;SPS offers a highly challenging, fast paced Agile development environment. &nbsp;This position will work closely with the Development team to achieve the highest level of success.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Key Responsibilities</span></strong></p><p><strong>1. Leadership &amp; People Management</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Line management of assigned Test Analyst resources.</li><li>Work with a global team and create/review test plans across remote teams.</li></ul><p><strong>2. QA Strategy, Planning &amp; Governance</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Develop the Test Approach and determine resource requirements.</li><li>Establish the scope and agree with the details of testing with key stakeholders.</li><li>Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.</li><li>Design test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications for the overall QA team to execute.</li><li>Develop and maintain test plans for QA cycles and track defects using Microsoft Azure DevOps and MS Test Manager.</li><li>Define KPIs and create reports for stakeholders to have visibility on product quality, defect analysis, and testing status.</li><li>Work with operating staff to establish quality procedures and standards to improve performance, stability, and product integrity.</li><li>Responsible for approving releases into production.</li></ul><p><strong>3. Test Execution &amp; Technical Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Test software and embedded firmware applications against specifications and documentation.</li><li>Set up test environments.</li><li>Gain and maintain familiarity with all operating environments.</li></ul><p><strong>4.
