Come join Arcwood and be part of our legacy of environmental leadership!</p>\n<h2>Essential Functions & Responsibilities </h2>\n<p><strong>Position Overview</strong></p>\n<p>As a Field Services Driver, you will play a hands-on role in the safe transport and handling of hazardous waste materials across multiple customer sites. This is not a sit-behind-the-wheel role — our drivers are active contributors to each job from start to finish, including loading and unloading, container labeling, waste sorting, and completion of regulatory paperwork.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule & Travel</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Guaranteed 40 hours per week; overtime is required</li>\n <li>Overnight travel expected approximately 50% or more</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay:  </strong>The pay rate starts at $25/hour, experienced drivers can earn more depending on experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>A Day in the Life</strong></p>\n<p>While no two days are exactly the same, a typical day may look like this:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Arrive at the office and collect job paperwork</li>\n <li>Load required supplies and equipment for the day's jobs</li>\n <li>Drive to customer sites throughout the day</li>\n <li>Label drums, sort waste streams, and complete hazardous waste manifests at each stop</li>\n <li>Respond to emergency spills.</li>\n <li>Submit completed paperwork and assist with unloading the truck as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate vacuum trucks, straight trucks, and roll-off trailers safely and in compliance with DOT regulations</li>\n <li>Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement</li>\n <li>Accurately label containers and complete all required hazardous waste documentation</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and organized vehicle</li>\n <li>Communicate professionally with customers at each stop</li>\n <li>Adhere to all safety, environmental, and compliance standards</li>\n <li>Completes manifests, company documentation, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed</li>\n <li>Maintains a logbook for DOT compliance</li>\n <li>Maintains ability to operate high-velocity vacuum trucks and all attachments</li>\n <li> Operate Equipment, including vacuum truck, roll-off truck, pumps, pressure washers etc.</li>\n <li>Cleaning and removing underground chemical storage tanks and preparing waste for disposal</li>\n <li>Demolition labor at contaminated building and land sites</li>\n <li>Operating excavation and filter press equipment</li>\n <li>Handling, loading, unloading, and sampling drums</li>\n <li>Responding to emergency spill situations as needed</li>\n <li>Using small hand tools and providing general construction support</li>\n <li>Driving waste to disposal site</li>\n <li>At day's end: decontaminating equipment, completing paperwork, and prepping for the next assignment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education </h2>- High-school diploma or equivalent (required)\n<h2>Experience</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience</li>\n <li>Valid CDL Class B license</li>\n <li>Hazmat endorsement required</li>\n <li>Air Brake endorsement required</li>\n <li>Tanker endorsement required</li>\n <li>This role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator.
