Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.</p><p>As a <strong>Thermal Spray Coating Technician,&nbsp;</strong>you’ll set-up and operate spray systems to apply Thermal Spray coatings to parts.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">What you’ll do<strong>:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Selects, prepares solutions or coatings according to formulas and specifications and creates spray recipes and sequences for spraying.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Plans, develops, writes, revises, documents, tests, implements and controls programs for robots as applicable.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Operates blasting equipment to clean and prepare the surface of materials and components.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Prepares and masks parts with fixtures, rubber, tape, tafa, antibond or metal masks prior to coating.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Sets up and operates various types of manual, semi-automatic and/or robotic spray systems to apply substances to parts.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Removes masking, cleans overspray and washes parts.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Inspects surfaces visually for defects and compliance with specifications using micrometers, calipers, elcometers, profilometers, or related devices prior to and after applying coating.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Cleans and maintains spray/coating equipment, fixtures and blast cabinets.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Participates in continuous improvement of cell processes.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Cross trains in other complementary skills and seeks endorsements for those skills as needed to support production requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Moves between production assignments that utilize multiple skills endorsements as needed to support production requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Participates in the cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Carries out other duties as assigned</li></ul><p style=\"margin:0in 0in 0in .5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Working knowledge of related company instructions, company processes, reworks process instructions, original equipment manufacturer manuals and MSDS labels.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Working knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Regularly required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods.</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Must be an U.S. Citizen/Permanent Resident</li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>Desired Skills:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">Experience with thermal spray coating</p></li></ul><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-bottom:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;Benefits that make life better:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type:disc;\"><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">Comprehensive Healthcare</li><li style=\"margin-bottom:0in;tab-stops:list .5in;\">401(k) with 100% company match;
