Responsible for the successful operation of the Poker area, assuring the integrity of the games, and safeguarding company assets. Maintaining a clean, safe, fast, friendly, and fun environment for all guests, team members, and company assets. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The focus shall always be on ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while maintaining a positive can-do attitude with an emphasis on the highest level of guest service for both external and internal guests.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation: $4.50 - $5.50 Dealer.  $28.00 Supervisor/diem  </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>As a Dealer:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Dealing the game and always monitoring the monies of the table.</li>\n   <li>Control gaming cards and equipment.</li>\n   <li>Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements.</li>\n   <li>Analyze customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation.</li>\n   <li>Provide excellent customer service.</li>\n   <li>Paying wins/Taking losses.</li>\n   <li>Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>As a Supervisor:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Report to the Casino Pit Manager or Shift Operations Manager for successful performance </li>\n   <li>Supervise the performance of the table games dealers.</li>\n   <li>Assist and advise other departments and company personnel as necessary, to assure the success of the table games. </li>\n   <li>Manage the administration of fills/credits, player ratings; keep track of markers, and rundowns.</li>\n   <li>Analyze gameplay for cheating scams, counters, and unusual or suspicious variations.</li>\n   <li>Develop staff through training and evaluations.</li>\n   <li>Meet with departmental directors and managers to review table game activities and promotional as necessary.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>In the role of Dealer:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English</li>\n  <li>Ability to use chips, cards, and a paddle.</li>\n  <li>Good hand/eye coordination.</li>\n  <li>Extensive knowledge of and gaming regulations.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of theft techniques.</li>\n  <li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li>\n  <li>Ability to perform under time pressure in an interruptive environment.</li>\n  <li>Complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.</li>\n  <li>Knowledge of all facilities, special events, and promotions available to guests on property.</li>\n  <li>pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude with use of facial expressions.</li>\n </ul>\n <li>In the role of Floor Supervisor:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial data, casino policies, and promotions.</li>\n  <li>Effective staff management abilities.</li>\n  <li>Strong interpersonal skills</li>\n  <li>Oral and written communication skills.</li>\n  <li>Strong sense of responsibility relative to the performance of the table games.</li>\n  <li>Proficiency in Microsoft software products.</li>\n  <li>Ability to analyze and interpret departmental budget, goals, and results.</li>\n  <li>Ability to solve complex problems.</li>\n  <li>Extensive knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Technical school education in dealing specified games.</li>\n <li>Two (2) to Five (5) years of experience with a Four (4) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Casino is over 300,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.</li>\n <li>10% Walking</li>\n <li>10% Keyboarding</li>\n <li>15% Bending (from waist)</li>\n <li>75% Standing</li>\n <li>Ability to make repetitive hand motions</li>\n <li>Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
