Join us!</p><p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p><p>This position will work in close communication with the Engineering team to ensure all specification requirements are effectively and efficiently tested. Proficiency of documentation of results in LIMS system and report creation for distributing results will be key. &nbsp;In addition, this position is also responsible for the physical, mechanical and chemical tests of current and new product designs.</p><p><strong>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, industry specifications, and testing protocols.</li><li>Following standard product testing methods and report generation guidelines. &nbsp;</li><li>Proficient with basic laboratory tools and instruments such as calipers, gages, vision systems, tensile testers, etc.</li><li>Familiar with problem solving methods and tools.</li><li>Must have good written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must have high attention to detail and efficiency.</li><li>Must like working with hands and discovering how a product performs or what caused it to fail.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe (pdf files) and LIMSey test scheduling system.</li><li>Organization of work area, test sample storage best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Level of Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in engineering, testing, or manufacturing of products in the medical device industry.</li></ul><p><strong>Level of Education:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent. &nbsp;Some college level work is desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Travel: &nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><p>As the business needs.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform testing in a competent manner according to published test methods.
