We provide a full range of industrial facilities maintenance and process maintenance services.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>MOR PPM Inc. is seeking an HVAC Technician in Bennettsville, SC. Technician is responsible for repair pipes to stop leaking. Test electrical circuits or components for proper functioning. Service heating, ventilation or air-conditioning (HVAC) systems or components. Repair and replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts. Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary. Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> -- </p>\n<ul>\n <li>MAINTAIN AND REPAIR ON ALL PLANT HVAC EQUIPMENT TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO AIR HANDLERS, AIR CONDITIONERS, ELECTRIC AND GAS HEATING UNITS, MISTY COLLECTORS, EXHAUST FANS & ROOF TOP UNITS .</li>\n <li>REGULAR PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PERFORMED ON PLANT CHILLERS AND WATER HEATERS.</li>\n <li>REQUIRES EPA & CEC CERTIFICATION FOR PROPER HANDLING OF REFRIGERANT.</li>\n <li>SERVE AS ON CALL ENGINEER FOR ALL HVAC RELATED REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE.</li>\n <li>WORK WITH VENDOR TO PREPAIR SCOPE AND PRICING FOR MAJOR O&M AND CAPITAL PROJECTS.</li>\n <li>COMMUNICATE ON A DAILY BASES WITH PLANT FACILITIES ENGINEER.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> --</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent desired</li>\n <li>Certification preferred.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in conditions where frequent walking, climbing, stooping, bending, lifting and carrying are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign</li>\n <li>May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above</li>\n <li>Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas</li>\n <li>Must have full range of motion consistent with age</li>\n <li>Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders</li>\n <li>Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises</li>\n <li>Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces</li>\n <li>Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#ppm</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
