POSITION TITLE: Senior Accountant
Get to Know the Role:
Support the Accounting Department duties with emphasis on general ledger management, preparation of account reconciliations and journal entry postings, as well as special projects.
What You’ll Do:
Coordinate with business partners to understand the projects and transactions being recorded.
Analyze transactions and balances to ensure that they are appropriately recorded in the general ledger.
Prepare and review routine recurring and non-recurring journal entries.
Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations.
Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close process.
Assist in the preparation of key internal reporting.
Prepare required documentation for financial audits and reviews.
Assist in maintenance of Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in accounting.
3-5+ years’ experience in corporate accounting or equivalent public accounting experience.
CPA Strongly preferred.
Oracle ERP experience preferred.
High degree of proficiency with standard Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail.
Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
