We&rsquo;re proud to boast a world-class engineering team that thrives on rolling up their sleeves to solve your mission&rsquo;s biggest challenges.</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><br>Velocity-X is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed professional to fill the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineer to support our team in Northern Virginia.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and implement scalable AI/ML computing infrastructures and application stacks.</li><li>Build and deploy machine learning models and AI solutions from scratch.</li><li>Transform machine learning models into APIs for integration with other applications.</li><li>Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions.</li><li>Conduct statistical analysis and interpret results to guide and optimize decision-making.</li><li>Manage data ingestion, preprocessing, and feature engineering to ensure data quality for model training.</li><li>Optimize AI algorithms for performance, scalability, and efficiency.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest AI and machine learning advancements, research, and tools.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve AI-related issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AI applications.</li><li>Document architecture roadmaps, reference architectures, and standard operating procedures for AI solutions.</li><li>Potentially lead cross-functional teams in identifying and prioritizing areas where AI can provide business benefits.</li><li>Advise stakeholders on AI strategy, technology, and policy issues.</li><li>Automate AI infrastructures for the data science team.</li><li>Evaluate and implement best practices in AI/ML, data mining, and analytics.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s in Computer Vision, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related field.</li><li>10+ years experience with 3+ years of demonstrated and related industry experience</li><li>Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and/or R.</li><li>Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and/or PyTorch.</li><li>Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning),&nbsp;deep learning, and neural networks.</li><li>Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.\\Familiarity with data management and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, SQL, NoSQL databases).</li><li>Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Understanding of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles.</li><li>Experience with version control systems like Git.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Clearance Requirement:</strong></p><p>TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer:</strong></p><p>Velocity-X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
