The ideal candidate brings strong manufacturing leadership experience, deep knowledge of welding operations, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced fabrication environment.</p><p>As part of a 100% employee-owned company, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact while sharing in the company’s success.</p><p><br></p><h3><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></h3><h3><strong>Supervision and Leadership</strong>:</h3><p>o Lead, mentor/train, and supervise a team of welders and press brake operators.</p><p>o Monitor, audit, and enforce all safety training and policies.</p><p>o Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure production schedules are met.</p><p>o Review and post daily labor transactions.</p><p>o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.</p><p>o Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts.</p><p><strong>Production Oversight</strong>:</p><p>o Monitor daily production activities to ensure quality and efficiency.</p><p>o Ensure all welding operations (GMAW, GTAW, PAW and SAW) meet quality requirements.</p><p>o &nbsp;Work with dayshift press brake supervisor to ensure forming processes meet company standards.</p><p>o Coordinate with the Production Manager to align resources and priorities.</p><p>o Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, and safety.</p><p><strong>Quality Assurance</strong>:</p><p>o Ensure all work meets or exceeds ASME and AWS standards.</p><p>o Oversee and train for advanced blueprint reading and welding symbol interpretation.</p><p>o Conduct regular quality checks and ensure all projects are completed within quoted estimates.</p><p>o Record all nonconformance's (NCR’s) and define, record, and implement corrective actions.</p><p><strong>Safety and Compliance</strong>:</p><p>o Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations.</p><p>o &nbsp;Conduct and monitor regular safety training.</p><p>o Ensure all employees adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).</p><p>o Report and investigate accidents or incidents promptly.</p><p><strong>Continuous Improvement</strong>:</p><p>o Work with Production Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.</p><p>o Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.</p><p>o Encourage team members to pursue additional training and certifications.</p><h3><br></h3>",
