Description
SUMMARY
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to individuals with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the school. The Behavior Analyst will collect data, create Behavior Intervention Plans, implement behavior strategies as written in the Behavior Plan, assists with teacher training, conduct clinical assessment as needed and supervises, trains and oversees the Registered Behavioral Technicians on campus with their job duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and functions, as outlined herein, are intended to be representative of the type of tasks performed within this classification. They are not listed in any order of importance. The omission of specific statements of the duties or functions does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.
• Provides direct student care in 1:1 settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
• Follows the prescribed behavioral skills acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Collects, records, and summarizes data on observable student behavior.
• Assists with teacher and teaching assistant training in line with students individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols.
• Effectively communicates with parents and caregivers regarding client progress throughout the school year.
• Maintains client confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA laws.
• Assists Registered Behavioral Technicians with training of interventions and strategies as well as skill acquisitions and behavior reduction assessments for students.
• Assists Registered Behavioral Technicians in preparing client materials as instructed by the principal and/or Director of Students Services.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Collaborates with treatment team including students, parents, and school personnel including outside professionals, therapists and co-workers.
• Maintains and acquires technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
