    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking experienced APC Field Technicians to perform hands-on installation, verification, and legacy system disposition activities supporting device deployments at FAA sites for the FAA Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS) Program. The Technician provides direct field execution support including cabling, power verification, hardware mounting, and documentation updates in operational FAA environments.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">This position supports ACLS Fiber Ring Headend Equipment Replacement activities under BNATCS, including fiber termination, patching, testing, and commissioning at FAA airport interface endpoints. The Technician must be qualified to work with single-mode fiber infrastructure in operational NAS environments and support short-duration outages coordinated with FAA Technical Operations</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The position requires advanced technical expertise in electronics systems, structured cabling, power verification, and field execution within operational FAA environments, with close coordination among Program Management, Engineering Services, Technical Operations, vendors, and site personnel to ensure compliance with FAA standards and safe continuity of air traffic operations.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Fiber Installation &amp; Termination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform single-mode fiber termination at Airport Cable Loop Systems ACLS headend equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Install, terminate, and label fiber optic patch panels and jumpers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform fusion splicing or mechanical splicing as required (if applicable to scope).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct OTDR testing, light level testing, and continuity verification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Document fiber test results in accordance with FAA documentation standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support short-duration outage execution and restoration validation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Verify fiber routing, bend radius compliance, and cable management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate with FAA Technical Operations during cutovers and testing.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Installation Execution</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Install hardware, mount equipment, and connect power and network interfaces.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform structured cabling terminations and labeling.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Verify grounding and bonding compliance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conduct continuity and connectivity testing.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Technical Installation Readiness &amp; Verification</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform independent technical verification of power, grounding, and interconnect cabling to confirm compliance with approved designs, equipment specifications, and site requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Validate wiring accuracy, labeling, continuity, and terminations in preparation for equipment installation and activation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Document test results and verification outcomes and update designated program repositories or fusion hubs to ensure traceability and readiness for FAA acceptance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Post-Site Survey &amp; Field Execution Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support post-site survey activities by validating survey findings, identifying technical discrepancies, and assisting with remediation planning to bring sites to an install-ready condition.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate on-site activities with Facilities Key Personnel (KP), Engineering Services, Technical Operations (Tech Ops), Air Traffic personnel, and vendors.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide technical oversight during vendor installation or remediation activities to ensure adherence to FAA standards and approved plans.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Legacy Decommissioning &amp; Disposition Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support physical removal of decommissioned legacy equipment, including associated cabling, racks, and peripheral components, following FAA-approved procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Assist with packaging, staging, and preparation of equipment for transfer, reuse, or environmentally compliant disposal.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Validate equipment inventories, serial numbers, and configurations prior to shipment or disposal and assist with required disposition documentation.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Safety, Security &amp; Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform all work in accordance with FAA safety, security, and site-specific access requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure activities minimize operational impact to air traffic services and comply with environmental and property management requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain accurate, auditable records of technical work performed, discrepancies identified, and corrective actions completed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Reporting &amp; Documentation</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide timely inputs to site execution reports, installation oversight records, and disposition documentation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Support preparation of deliverables requiring technical verification entries, installation coordination records, and final disposition completion documentation.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills Required:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline (or equivalent military or field experience).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Minimum 10 years of progressive experience as an electronics technician supporting complex communications, radar, or mission-critical systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Demonstrated experience performing power, cabling, and interconnect verification in operational environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation plans.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail in safety-critical environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency using test equipment (e.g., multimeters, cable testers, continuity testers).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Skills Preferred:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior experience supporting FAA, DoD, or other Federal aviation or critical infrastructure programs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Familiarity with Voice Communication Systems (VCS), VoIP-based communications, or air traffic control support systems.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience supporting system cutovers, decommissioning, or legacy system disposition activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">OSHA safety training or equivalent field safety certifications.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Work Environment &amp; Travel</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work is primarily performed on-site at FAA facilities across the NAS, with additional work at contractor or integrator facilities as required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Position requires frequent nationwide travel to FAA sites in support of surveys, remediation, installation readiness, and disposition execution.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The salary range for positions is $50,000 to $175,000. This range is provided as a general guideline and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compensation. Actual salary offers will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
