Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and determine root causes.
Repair and replace defective parts, components, and systems.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintenance procedures.
Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize downtime.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Weld manufacturing weldments together as needed.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or related environment.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Welding and fabrication skills.
Electrical troubleshooting and motor controls knowledge.
OSHA safety awareness and lockout/tagout procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Maintain strong safety culture .
Basic math skills.
Good listening skills and a passion to learn.
High work ethic, dependability, and detail oriented.
Strong communication skills.
Must be a team player.
Must be open to cross-training opportunities.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled manufacturing shop or field site
Stand up to 12 hours daily
Walk up to 12 hours daily
Bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, heat, and moving machinery.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when required.
Repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily
Lifting weight up to 50lbs regularly
Ability to work overtime, weekend, and on-call availability based on operations needs.
