This is a dynamic, community-facing role requiring professionalism, initiative, </span><span>strong communication</span><span> skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span></span><span> </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span> Support the development and execution of community mobilization and engagement strategies across advocacy, activism, and public affairs initiatives.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Recruit, engage, and support volunteers, activists, ambassadors, and community leaders participating in</span><span> campaigns, </span><span>trainings</span><span>, events, and community actions.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span> Help coordinate grassroots organizing efforts, leadership engagement opportunities, and rapid-response mobilization activities.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Support community outreach and relationship-building initiatives across diverse stakeholder groups and community networks.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Coordinate campaign logistics</span><span>, volunteer communications, engagement tracking, and operational processes to support successful execution of initiatives.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span>Assist with organizing </span><span>trainings</span><span>, workshops, rallies, advocacy events, leadership initiatives, and community engagement opportunities.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span>Maintaining engagement databases, volunteer tracking systems, outreach lists, and campaign reporting processes.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span> Collaborate cross-functionally with</span><span> internal teams, community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders to support mobilization objectives</span><span> and community participation.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span> Support efforts to strengthen civic participation, Jewish communal engagement, and grassroots leadership development throughout the community.</span></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span><span>Qualifications:</span></span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span> Postsecondary education in Political Science, Public Affairs, Communications, Community Development, Nonprofit Management, Jewish Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in community organizing</span><span>, </span><span>grassroots activism, advocacy campaigns, volunteer engagement, public affairs, nonprofit organizations, political campaigns, student leadership, or related fields.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-size: 12pt\">Passionate advocate and visible champion of UJA’s mission, values, and goals, inspiring others through action and unwavering commitment to advancing our shared purpose</span><br></li>\n<li><span><span>Demonstrated experience recruiting, engaging, mobilizing, or coordinating volunteers, activists, ambassadors, supporters, or community stakeholders.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n<li><span><span> Experience supporting campaigns, advocacy initiatives, grassroots organizing efforts, leadership programs, events, or community engagement activities.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and foster community participation.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Excellent organizational, coordination, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and professionalism.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Experience working within Jewish communal organizations, Hillel, student leadership, youth movements, advocacy organizations, or civic engagement initiatives is considered a strong asset.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span> Passion for Jewish communal life, civic engagement, grassroots organizing, leadership development, and community activism.</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span><span>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with CRM, engagement, or volunteer databases is considered an asset.</span></span><span> </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">*This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 4.<span> </span></span>Salary Range: $65,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience. <br>At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
