The Senior Electrical Designer will lead the development of electrical design models and drawings of new ship and marine vehicle designs, as wells as modifications to existing designs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>MAIN DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assign and check the work of junior electrical designers.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop electrical power and control wiring diagrams for marine applications.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop 3D electrical equipment, lighting, wiring, conduit, cable hanger and electrical penetration models and associated 2D Production drawings for existing and new products.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create wiring routing tables with passthrough information, pinout identification, wire type, connector part numbers, label descriptions in MS Access or other cable management software.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create details to assist manufacturing installation and assembly of electrical systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure the quality of electrical design models and drawings.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Integration of electrical design with structure, mechanical, and outfitting.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Develop and maintain electrical standards, including cable schedules, wireways, penetrations, and cable terminations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Write Request for Information for functional engineering missing information.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to select vendor hardware/parts that are compatible with systems and customer requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Organize and maintain drawing file configurations and storage.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Release drawings following company procedures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Process engineering change notices and engineering related corrective actions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Revise models and drawings to refine products based on input from engineering and production personnel.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Create product illustrated parts for ShipConstructor Database entry.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist field engineers in the resolution of production information
