If you have previous experience in property maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you! While qualifications are not essential, experience in plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering would be beneficial.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">In a Nutshell:</span><br>As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel, ensuring that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are always in top condition. You’ll perform both planned and reactive maintenance, handling a variety of tasks to keep the hotel running smoothly.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance in guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.</li>\n<li>Complete reactive maintenance tasks when a job is logged in our management system.</li>\n<li>Fix issues within rooms to return them to service quickly and efficiently.</li>\n<li>Manage contractors on-site when required.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance and health &amp; safety requirements.</li>\n<li>Working alongside all colleagues within Atlas</li>\n<li>Liaise with your Area Maintenance Manager for larger maintenance projects and refurbishments.</li>\n<li>Share proactive insights with the Operational, Property, and Maintenance teams to improve guest services.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Experience Do You Need?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in building maintenance.</li>\n<li>Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems or similar.</li>\n<li>Trade experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical work, joinery, painting and decorating, or plastering is highly advantageous.</li>\n<li>Computer literacy (for compliance and audit tasks).</li>\n<li>Experience in water management compliance is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About You:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Self-motivated with a strong \"can-do\" attitude.</li>\n<li>Able to work collaboratively and courteously within a hotel environment, always representing the Atlas brand.</li>\n<li>Flexible and able to prioritise tasks in pressurised situations.</li>\n<li>A genuine interest in learning and developing skills within the broader Property and Maintenance network.</li>\n<li>Organised, methodical, and logical in approach.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Join Atlas Hotels?</span></p>\n<p><br>At Atlas Hotels, we offer a supportive and inclusive work environment with plenty of opportunities for career development.
