Nevada Gold Mines has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Geologist to join our Geoinformation and Data team. In this role, you will support exploration and geoscience teams by ensuring high-quality geoscientific data is captured, managed, analyzed, and made accessible across its full lifecycle. You will work with modern geoinformation platforms, geological databases, and GIS tools, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities: Collection of geologic data, mapping, sampling, RC chip and core logging Ability to identify lithology, alteration and mineralogy associated with gold systems Ensure data integrity and implementation of QAQC procedures Data synthesis, compilation, and geologic interpretation to support targeting Support drill program execution and ensure zero harm Deliver regular progress reports and presentations, ensure key stake holders are kept up to date on project progress Interpret downhole televiewer data and apply to drill targeting Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline required Experience with GIS platforms, including configuration, administration, or customization preferred Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills required Proactive mindset with the ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively across teams preferred What We Can Offer You A comprehensive compensation package including a competitive medical, dental, and vision plan with national provider networks, a 401k retirement plan with employer contribution AND employer match, paid time off, company-sponsored medical clinics, company match share purchase program, and much more!
