For full details of our benefits offerings, please visit: peoplesbancorp.com/about-us/find-a-career/&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Purpose:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Ensures timely resolution of past due loan payments and performs collection activities and related loan servicing for more complex small business (branch based) and business banking loans. &nbsp;Devises and executes effective collection strategies designed to efficiently resolve loan delinquency, mitigate risk, and maximize recoveries while minimizing expense and maintaining excellent customer service. &nbsp;Provides guidance and coaching to the Commercial Collector I role.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Job Duties:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures timely resolution of past due loan payments and performs collection activities and related loan servicing for more complex small business (branch based) and business banking loans. &nbsp;</li><li>Devises and executes effective collection strategies designed to efficiently resolve loan delinquency, mitigate risk, and maximize recoveries while minimizing expense and maintaining excellent customer service.</li><li>Reviews and analyzes loan documents, loan payments, past dues, loan collateral and inspections, monetary compliance/defaults, covenant(s) compliance, financial statement reporting, maturities, forbearance agreements, bankruptcy, and other legal proceedings.&nbsp;</li><li>Recommends workout solutions and/or loan modifications, implements orderly liquidation/exit or rehabilitation plans, manages foreclosures and repossessions.</li><li>Initiates collection calls and resolves delinquencies while demonstrating proper phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Provides guidance and coaching to the Commercial Collector I role.</li><li>Collaborates with line of business partners to ensure proactive risk management and devises and implements strategy for delinquency reduction and over all asset quality improvement.&nbsp;</li><li>Manages internal and external resources to effectively control expenses.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides timely and accurate reporting to senior management.&nbsp;</li><li>Adheres to bank&rsquo;s policies and procedures and complies with regulatory requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate and collaborates with attorneys to enforce rights and remedies, as necessary</li><li>Handles administrative functions as needed for the Special Assets department.
