The purpose of this job is to provide excellent customer service to students and parents when completing the Better Than Rent contracts at various locations within Schmitt&rsquo;s service area.</p>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Provide excellent customer service to students and parents.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist new band and orchestra students in selecting instruments.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete Better Than Rent contracts at various Schmitt Music locations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Collaborate with a team of creative music professionals.</li>\r\n\t<li>Use the point-of-sale system for sales, inventory, and updating customer records.</li>\r\n\t<li>Help customers, restock showroom, and receive inventory.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.</li>\r\n\t<li>Attend and complete training sessions.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Work Environment</strong><strong>:</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Retail and office-type working conditions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Occasional school settings.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<h3><strong>Physical Demands</strong><strong>:</strong></h3>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.</li>\r\n\t<li>Frequently stand, walk, and sit.</li>\r\n\t<li>Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.</li>\r\n\t<li>May lift up to 20-30 pounds.</li>\r\n\t<li>May occasionally climb a ladder, bend over, and kneel to put stock away and move merchandise.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
