Bartenders will provide food and drink service for bar patrons as well as make drinks for server’s patrons. Must be 21 years or older to apply. <b>Previous craft bar experience is mandatory</b>. This position will begin Mid-Late April and will continue through the Summer season with potential for a Winter position.</span></p><p></p><p><b>Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities</b>:</p><ul><li>Open bar, count till, open lock ups and thoroughly perform setup and prep work.</li><li>Responsible to inventory/stock product, change/move kegs/aligas, mix drinks, create cocktail specials, and provide a high level of guest service and entertainment.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring minimal waste by correct pour of all drinks.</li><li>ID guests in accordance with Idaho State liquor and identification laws, monitor guest intoxication and take action/get help, if necessary.</li><li>Close bar, thoroughly perform all closing/cleaning duties, prepare end of shift reports and turns in accurate deposits to central vault/auditor, lock up product and area.</li><li>Must pay attention to detail and help keep bar/restaurant presentable.</li><li>Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Must be punctual.</li><li>Will communicate to manager when bar inventory items are low.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Specific Job Skills</b>:</p><p><u>License/Certifications</u>-  Idaho TIPS or ABC training (may acquire on the job), Food Handlers permit, AllerTrain allergy certification</p><p><u>Technical</u>- Utilize POS System                </p><p><u>Physical Capabilities</u>- Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Required to lift over 25lbs frequently and over 50lbs occasionally.</p><p><u>Additional</u>- Strong communication skills.</p><p></p><p><b>Education/Related Experience</b>:</p><p><u>Minimum education required</u>- English reading, writing and communication; basic math</p><p><u>Minimum time in related position</u>-  Two years mixed drink bartending with demonstrated competence</p>",
