Job Title: Level I Helpdesk Technician
Location: Chappaqua, NY
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. ET with occasional event evenings and weekend work

Acture Solutions is looking for a dedicated and service-minded IT Level I Desktop Technician to join our on-site support team. What You’ll Do
As a Desktop Technician, you'll be the first line of technical support for users including teachers, staff, and administrators. You’ll report directly to the Senior Technology Operations Manager and respond to user requests in-person, by phone, or through our IT helpdesk system. Your daily impact will include:
Providing responsive first-level support for desktop, software, and application-related issues Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other applications Supporting installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment Managing support tickets, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolutions Escalating unresolved problems to higher-tier support as needed Assisting in new hardware and software deployments, system imaging, and configuration Offering user guidance and training on everyday tech tools Performing basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and printer access Maintaining inventory of IT assets and support documentation Upholding IT policies and ensuring compliance with company standards What You Bring
1–3 years of desktop/application support or relevant technical support experience Experience with Microsoft, Apple, and Google platforms Strong hardware support skills for PCs, laptops, printers, etc. Familiarity with networking, connectivity, and printer troubleshooting Ability to manage help requests using a ticketing system Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities Experience working with or supporting educators is a plus Capable of working independently and collaborating with a team Applicants must live within a one-hour commute of the job location.
