Our team is growing fast in Ontario, striving to create lasting value for our clients by creating and delivering solutions to complex transportation infrastructure problems.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><b>Candidates’ career path:&nbsp;</b></p>\n<p>This role is intended for an upcoming Project Manager interested in the advancement of their career leading highway planning and preliminary design projects. Join us in office, three days a week to contribute, connect and excel in our vibrant environment.</p>\n<p><b>Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:&nbsp;</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Project Leadership:</b> Successful leadership delivering highway planning projects for MTO and similar clients as a Project Manager and/or Assistant Project Manager.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Project Management: </b>Taking ownership for all aspects of the management of projects from proposal to close-out, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Coaching and Mentoring: </b>Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Collaboration:</b> Teamwork in small and large teams. Owning the integration with other engineering disciplines, engineers, and design staff in the production of high-quality project deliverables.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Project Team Management:</b> Managing staff including performance, workload, and supporting their technical and professional development.</li>\n <li><b>Leadership and Direction:</b> Promoting best practices and leadership in transportation projects.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supporting Business Development including capture planning and leading proposals.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Stakeholder Management: </b>Contribute to the development and execution of the business development strategy for relevant clients, including enhancing client relationships, identifying opportunities, creating capture plans and leading proposals.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><b>Project Delivery:</b> Applying your expertise using a variety of transportation solutions to help our clients, including corridor planning, preliminary design, green infrastructure strategies, application of the Environmental Assessment process, intersection and interchange design, digital delivery, integrated transportation technology/ITS solutions, highway and bridge rehabilitation and expansion strategies, and roundabout design.</li>\n <li>Driving high quality results, client satisfaction, and strong financial performance to support the growth of our transportation portfolio.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>What you’ll bring to the team:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ontario P.Eng. designation required (or eligible)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>10+ years' experience in design and engineering of transportation infrastructure projects, including project management experience.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience working with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience working with other highway agencies and municipal transportation clients would be an asset.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Experience managing design projects in collaborative models (e.g. Progressive Design-Build, Alliance, CMGC) would be an asset.</li>\n <li>Excellent written and oral communication skills.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Proven track record to develop, mentor, and lead professional technical staff.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-TP1</p>\n<p>Please note:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>The salary range for this position is $103,068-$149,068.&nbsp;&nbsp;The posted salary range&nbsp;represents&nbsp;the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city&nbsp;centres.
