Description
Our Supply Chain team is currently looking to add a Pipeline Parts Runner to the team, based in Dawson Creek, BC.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible for receiving, loading and unloading trailers, picking orders, restocking product and shipping to support Pipeline Construction projects. This includes materials, consumables, small tools, minor equipment rentals and associated parts and services, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, load and unload trailers, picking orders, restock and ship product
Accountable for productivity and efficiencies of warehouse operations
Ensure all orders are picked and ready for shipment in a safe and timely manner
Ensure efficient operations are maintained by optimizing availability of efficient and safe equipment, identifying process improvement opportunities, etc.
Report any damage to equipment or shipments
Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment
Other duties as assigned which include driving to site locations
Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
1 year in the warehousing or distribution sector
Valid Class 5 Drivers license (or equivalent within province)
Consistently able to lift 50lbs
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Previous experience with Pipeline Construction projects
Previous forklift and pipe yard experience
