    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>EMT PRN</p><p>Freedom Plaza’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to medical emergencies and deliver resident care, support, and evaluation to determine the proper emergency care, as well as administering minor treatment.&nbsp; EMTs help with the coordination of transporting residents safely between Freedom Plaza and the hospital.</p><p>$18.00 per hour with shift differentials.</p><p>&nbsp;PRN position</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Examine and evaluate residents to determine necessary care</li><li>Provide residents with emergency care by utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment</li><li>Document resident information, condition, and treatment</li><li>Maintain resident confidentiality and perform all care with respect for resident rights</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked office of supplies for resident care</li><li>Provide basic life support and gather resident data</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required</li><li>Current EMT certification/license in the state of Florida</li><li>Current CPR certification</li><li>1 year of experience in an emergency care setting preferred</li><li>Ability to bend, pull, push, and lift to 50 pounds</li><li>Ability to follow oral and written instructions</li><li>Demonstrated ability to implement clinical care in accordance with outlined policies and procedures</li><li>Ability to exercise sound judgment while working in a stressful environment</li></ul><p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://info.flclearinghouse.com/faq\">https://info.flclearinghouse.com/faq</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
