    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>UA will assist electricians during the installation of new electrical systems or repair and maintain electrical systems. They must be in compliance with state and local wiring codes.  This is considered to be a safety sensitive position.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Install communications and computer equipment. </li>\n <li>Using a variety of hand and power tools.</li>\n <li>Productively and safely install wire and electrical cable which they measure, cut, bend and thread through metal tubing called conduits.</li>\n <li>Assist in splicing wires at juncture points and feed/pull wiring into control centers and distribution boxes, transformers and transducers, switch gear and electrical outlets, and other permanent equipment.</li>\n <li>Cleanup activity.</li>\n <li>Gathering and transporting materials and tools to electricians on the construction project.</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures included in the Bergelectric Corp. Employee Handbook.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of the basic laws of electricity and electrical systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to understand technical instructions. </li>\n <li>Ability to follow instructions and assist electricians.</li>\n <li>Ability to see details and compare details in objects.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of tools and equipment.</li>\n <li>Basic mechanical skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lift 50 lbs. from the ground and pull 50 lbs. of force. </li>\n <li>Perform ladder climbing, wire pulling and conduit pulling. </li>\n <li>Fully squat, stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lbs. tool belt. </li>\n <li>Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.</li>\n <li>Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Working Environment</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A variety of weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat, etc.</li>\n <li>High noise levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>The information contained in the job description is for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and is not an exhaustive list of duties performed by this position.
