For this position we do ask that\nvolunteers speak and understand Spanish to help with the needs of the families.\nIf you do not have the ability, we can ask the team if they currently have\nother opportunities that you could help with!</p><p style=\"margin:0in;font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin:0in;font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Cal-SOAP- &nbsp;Under the direction of the\nProject Director, Cal-SOAP; Cal-SOAP Volunteers will follow established\nprocedures and provide academic tutoring and college access support to\nstudents. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n</p><ul type=\"disc\" style=\"direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed;margin-top:0in;\n margin-bottom:0in\">\n <li style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">Student contacts may occur by\n     appointment, drop-in basis, and during the scheduled hours for tutoring\n     services. &nbsp;</span></li>\n <li style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">Cal-SOAP Volunteers are\n     encouraged to participate in campus visits, evening workshops, and all\n     family services coordinated by the SCCC.</span></li>\n <li style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">Cal-SOAP Volunteers will\n     assist students with their daily homework and assignments</span></li>\n <li style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">Cal-SOAP Volunteers will\n     encourage students to achieve academic success</span></li>\n <li style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;vertical-align:middle\"><span style=\"font-family:Calibri;font-size:11.0pt\">Cal-SOAP Volunteers are\n     required to support the strategic plan, vision, and mission of SCCC.</span></li>\n</ul>\n    </div>\n  \n",
