    "requisitionDescription": "\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.6.15/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.6.15/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\">The Physical Therapy Assistant&rsquo;s responsibilities are to help the Physical Therapist provide treatment that improves patient mobility, relieve pain and prevent or lessen the physical disabilities of the patients.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Assists or supervises exercises and therapeutic procedures (per request of therapist).</li><li>Delivers physical modalities (PAMS) as instructed by the therapist.</li><li>Sets up equipment for treatment and maintains a clean, well-organized clinic area.</li><li>Observes patients during treatment to compile data on patients&#39; responses and progress, and reports to physical therapist.</li><li>Prepares and submits a clinical progress summary based on the attainment of goals as directed by Organization policy.</li><li>Instructs, motivates, safeguards, and assists patients in exercise programs and functional training.</li><li>Complies with federal and state regulations.</li><li>Complies with APTA code of ethics.</li><li>Complies with continuation education requirements.</li><li>Performs other job duties as required by supervisor/DPT.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Licensure or Certification as required by State guidelines.</li><li>1 years of experience in a physical therapy environment or related profession preferred.</li><li>Current BLS certification required.</li><li>Possessing basic knowledge in all the modalities.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong><u>LANGUAGE:&nbsp;</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Mandarin and/or Cantonese are preferred.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong><u>STATUS:</u></strong></p><p>This is an FLSA non-exempt position.<br>This is an OSHA high-risk position.<br><br><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\">NEMS is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer welcoming diversity in our workforce.
