This role offers a highly collaborative environment and the opportunity to work at a state-of-the-art facility, allowing you to focus on comprehensive pathology work while working alongside an experienced care team.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Quick Facts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-time</li>\n <li><strong>Call:</strong> Shared on-call schedule and 5 weeks of vacation annually</li>\n <li><strong>Volume:</strong> Manage daily mixed caseload of 30–35 specimens</li>\n <li><strong>Location:</strong> Palm Beach Gardens, FL</li>\n <li><strong>Practice Setting: </strong>Hospital-based</li>\n <li><strong>Support / Care Team:</strong> Certified Pathologist Assistant for grossing; multidisciplinary team</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct thorough examination and evaluation of surgical pathology specimens.</li>\n <li>Independently perform frozen sections and assess specimen adequacy for cytology.</li>\n <li>Manage a daily mixed caseload of 30–35 specimens, including:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Breast (core biopsies and excisions)</li>\n   <li>Thoracic pathology</li>\n   <li>Non-neoplastic and limited neoplastic GYN.</li>\n   <li>GU, GI, Neuro, limited Head & Neck</li>\n   <li>Limited Hematopathology</li>\n   <li>Cytology: thyroid, lung EBUS, GI EBUS</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Collaborate with laboratory staff and referring physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and excellent patient care.</li>\n <li>Participate in Breast and Lung Tumor Boards (three times per month).</li>\n <li>Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology required.</li>\n <li>Fellowship training in general or subspecialty anatomic pathology required.</li>\n <li>Minimum 3 years of experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Active Florida medical license required.</li>\n <li>No autopsy responsibilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Growth & Development</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunities to participate in tumor boards and advanced diagnostic work.</li>\n <li>Collaborative environment supports continuous learning and professional development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About the Organization & Community</strong></p>\n<p>Alan B.
