The Electrical Technician performs electrical installation of wiring harnesses, control panels, and electrical components on truck mounted equipment all within a factory environment. The Electrical Technician<strong>&nbsp;</strong>is responsible for planning layout, installing, repairing wiring, electrical apparatus, and control equipment in the manufacturing of truck units.<br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Specific responsibilities&nbsp;</strong>may include but are not limited to:</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Fundamental understanding of electrical theory and concepts in automotive and commercial truck applications.&nbsp;</li><li>Deliver a high-quality installation and mounting of control panels, lights, switches and displays,&nbsp;</li><li>Successful Candidates will show pride in their work and are committed to excellence.&nbsp;</li><li>Measure, cut, thread, and assemble connections to control panels and junction boxes under the hood, in the dash and throughout the truck chassis and truck body.</li><li>Testing continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot all electrical problems after testing. &nbsp;Building on your knowledge each time they resolve a problem.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner and the electrical system is safe and installation is safe and secure.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED and</li><li>Post-Secondary education from a technical trade school or college</li><li>Related experience and/or training in electrical wiring of trucks or similar experience.</li><li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Great work schedule and full benefits package options to include the list below and more.</strong></p><ul type=\"square\"><li>Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM</li><li>Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits Package</li><li>Disability and Life insurance</li><li>401k plans</li><li>Paid Time Off and Holidays</li><li>Safety Boot, Prescription Safety Glasses &amp; Uniform program.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Hi-Vac Corporation</strong> is an industry leader in manufacturing large industrial environmental truck and trailer mounted equipment that is sold all over the world.
