The successful candidate will work with the Director to execute projects and communicate regularly with local economic development groups. Responsibilities also include&nbsp;continuing development and marketing of the Center; assisting government agencies and firms with analysis of local, state, and national business and economic conditions; interacting with local, state, and national media with respect to economic conditions and policies in the region; executing economic impact projects and other specialized projects; and all other related duties as assigned.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i><strong>Fulfilling these responsibilities may require occasional travel to meet with clients and travel throughout Wyoming to assist the Director with presentations or attended events.</strong></i></p>\n<p><strong>SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Other projects and duties as necessary for the Center.</p>\n<p><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> &nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree or higher in Economics or related field.</li>\n <li>Explicit knowledge of standard econometric software, such as R, Python, and Stata.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the <a href=\"https://www.uwyo.edu/regs-policies/_files/docs/policies/uw-sap-7-9.10-vehicle-sap-driver-portion-approved4-27-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">Driving for University Business SAP</a>.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of and experience with software for economic impact analyses, such as IMPLAN or REMI</li>\n <li>PhD in Economics or related field</li>\n <li>Knowledge of Wyoming’s economy and the energy industry</li>\n <li>Excellent applied research skills</li>\n <li>A documented ability to effectively communicate verbally and orally to diverse audiences about complex topics involving data</li>\n <li>Prior experience working cooperatively with government agencies and private industry</li>\n</ul>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p><strong>REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:</strong></p>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p>Complete the online application.&nbsp; The department additionally requests candidates upload the following document(s) for a complete application:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n <ol>\n  <li>Cover letter&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Resume or C.V.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Contact information for four work-related references (references will only be contacted if you are selected as a finalist for the position).&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>\n </ol>\n</div>\n<div style=\"font-style:normal; font-weight:400; margin:0px; padding:0px\">\n <p>&nbsp;<strong>This position will remain open until filled.
