Are you ready to help shape the future of infrastructure in New Zealand? Crown Infrastructure Delivery (CID) is looking for a proactive Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of high-impact government infrastructure and construction projects.

About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll work closely with Clients, Programme Delivery, and the Project Support Office (PSO) teams to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across their lifecycle.
Your responsibilities primarily relate to supporting the wider project team and will include:
Supporting project delivery and documentation
Assisting with contracts, change control and business cases
Managing risks, issues and stakeholder communications
Ensuring health and safety compliance
Providing high-quality administrative and project support.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and eager to learn, with:

A project management qualification (or working towards one)
Experience in construction or project environments
Familiarity with NZS 3910 and NZS 3916 contracts
Strong stakeholder engagement and analytical skills
Confidence using project management tools
