    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 16px;\">Occupational Therapist</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;\">Description</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing and implementing individual and group treatment activities in a collaborative child- and family-centered service delivery model.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;\">Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position.  Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Interpret a physician’s referral and select appropriate standardized evaluation procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Evaluate patients in the relevant occupational therapy domains, including component skills that may be restricting independence and/or participation.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Interpret child and family concerns as well as data collected through standardized assessment and skilled observation, and develop a treatment plan involving short and long term goals, frequency and duration of treatment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Inform patient and family goals and progress.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Maintain a full-time caseload that may include children and families receiving services through insurance, school-based services, consultation, or private pay models of service delivery.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">May supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(s).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">May supervise students.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;\">Skills, Qualifications, and Certifications/Licensure Requirements</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist OR eligible to sit for the exam. License must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;\">Professional writing skills that include the ability to reflect medical necessity in documentation and communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team as well as other stakeholders in a child’s plan of care. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-size: 15px;\">Time management skills necessary to meet clinic requirements for clinician efficiency as well as documentation and billing timeframes.</span></li>\n</ul>",
