Join DCI today to build relationships and gain fulfillment maintaining vital dialysis equipment in an acute care environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Dialysis Equipment Technician</strong> ensures the dialysis equipment, systems, supplies and facility are functioning properly and safely to ensure patients receive the safest care with the highest-quality outcomes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Fulltime Monday through Friday, call availability required as needed</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong> Pay range starting at $20+ per hour, depending on technical equipment and dialysis experience; experience preferred, not required</p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Up to 12 weeks’ paid training</li>\n <li>Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits</li>\n <li>Life and long-term disability insurance provided at no additional expense to employee</li>\n <li>Paid time off (PTO) including holidays</li>\n <li>Extended Sick Bank (ESB) in addition to PTO – paid time for doctor appointments, sickness or medical leave</li>\n <li>Retirement plans with $.50 of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent</li>\n <li>Education reimbursement</li>\n <li>Employee assistance program</li>\n <li>Wellness program</li>\n <li>Among others</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Can Expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Repair, calibrate and maintain dialysis equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety</li>\n <li>Know and follow AAMI standards for water safety and reprocessing</li>\n <li>Provide routine maintenance and repair of water systems</li>\n <li>Document repairs and maintenance according to DCI and clinic policy</li>\n <li>Test and document air quality, taking appropriate action when necessary</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory functions as assigned</li>\n <li>Know and follow proper usage, storage and disposal procedures for hazardous chemicals and medical waste</li>\n <li>Strictly observe infection control procedures</li>\n <li>Complete minor building maintenance</li>\n <li>Coordinate necessary facility repairs with nurse manager, AOD and vendors</li>\n <li>Participate in quality improvement activities and risk management programs</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Successful Candidates Bring:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Demonstrated equipment proficiency</li>\n <li>Desire to collaborate with team members</li>\n <li>Ability to problem solve</li>\n <li>Electronics, plumbing or plant maintenance background</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education/Training:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum three to six months’ experience servicing dialysis equipment and systems strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Candidates with electrical maintenance experience also considered</li>\n <li>Successful completion of assigned manufacturer training courses required within 12 months</li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>DCI’s Differentiator:</strong></p>\n<p>Since opening the first clinic 50 years ago in Nashville, Tenn., our Dialysis Clinic, Inc. family has grown to be the nation’s largest nonprofit dialysis provider with more than 270 locations in 30 states, serving nearly 14,000 patients each day.
