font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">WHO ARE YOU?</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: windowtext\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Field Assistants at PEG will provide support to a Field Engineer by assisting them to complete Home Energy Audits in accordance with RESNET Guidelines.  This includes aiding in the collection of energy-related data on an active residential construction site and carrying equipment needed to perform Duct Testing, Blower Door Testing, and HVAC Grading/Balance Testing.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">THE ROLE</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Job Location:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">The geographical area assigned to this position includes a 50-mile radius with Atlanta, GA at its center.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Assist Field Engineers as they perform Home Energy Audits in accordance with New Construction RESNET/Energy Star Guidelines including but not limited to:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Visual Inspections of applied materials and control assemblies</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Data Collection and Visual Observation of energy efficient features such as</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Model and serial numbers of relevant equipment </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Quality and installation of duct work, insulation, framing, air sealing, ventilation, etc. </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Utilization of equipment to test system performance such as infiltration &amp; Blower Door Testing, Ventilation Testing, Duct Leakage Testing, and Building Air Flow &amp; Pressure Testing </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Adjustment of system settings to either meet design or manufacturer specifications </span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Education and/or Experience </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 15px\"> Must be working toward a High School Diploma or General Education Degree OR working toward a Vocational Certificate or College Degree in a Skilled Trades Industry </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands</span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must be physically able to fulfill job functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying equipment, climbing ladders, work in confined spaces (attics/crawl spaces), and using small tools and testing equipment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must enjoy working in the great outdoors</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Additional Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must be personable, enthusiastic, dependable, and well-groomed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must be adaptable as audit/inspections will fluctuate will client construction schedules.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Valid driver’s license in good standing with insurable driving record</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel daily to job sites</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">Must be willing to undergo a background check and/or drug testing, in accordance with local law/regulations</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);
