Site Portal&reg;, a customizable Web-based software, was engineered by C Squared Systems to remotely monitor and manage these complex multi-vendor environments.</p><p>Since 1999, C Squared Systems has executed turnkey in-building wireless solutions using state-of-the-art analysis tools to deliver RF solutions that exceed project scope and customer expectations. Our experience, technical expertise, and diverse projects in the wireless realm have allowed C Squared Systems to continually evolve as new technologies are developed and the demands of our customers change.&nbsp;</p><p>C Squared Systems is currently seeking a DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) Field Engineer to join our team. If you are highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment which occurs mainly in the field, this may be the role for you. You will be interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis and providing timely and detailed updates. This position will require you to be in the field 90% of the time.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;* Takes the lead on system commissioning, integrations, and activations<br>&nbsp;* Troubleshooting existing Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) by performing system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment<br>&nbsp;* Performs site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs<br>&nbsp;* Works (hands on) with system components such as antennas, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers<br>&nbsp;* Troubleshoots and repairs systems for optimal performance<br>&nbsp;* Application of RF principles/theory (signal path, power, frequency, noise, modulations, etc.)<br>&nbsp;* Multi-tasks on projects on a day-to-day basis<br>&nbsp;* Maintains test equipment and tools for continuous use<br>&nbsp;* Travels to various job sites within Maryland and outlying regions (DC, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware)</p><p><strong>Skills/Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&nbsp;* 2-year college degree (preferably technical) with relevant coursework, 4-year degree preferred<br>&nbsp;* 2 years of related experience (previous experience with DAS architecture and other cellular systems), 3+ years preferred<br>&nbsp;* Knowledge of various wireless technologies (LTE, 5G NR, etc.)<br>&nbsp;* Possess strong technical aptitude and the desire to learn and advance within a technical field<br>&nbsp;* Comfortable working in high pressure situations<br>&nbsp;* Ability to receive and give direction on an as needed basis<br>&nbsp;* Knowledge of RF optimization techniques and best practices<br>&nbsp;* Proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office, etc.)<br>&nbsp;* Must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license with reliable transportation</p><p>COVID-19 Vaccination status may be asked</p><p><br>&nbsp;In addition, you should have the following characteristics:<br>&nbsp;* Self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and direction<br>&nbsp;* Ability to work in groups<br>&nbsp;* Passion for learning new technologies<br>&nbsp;* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment<br>&nbsp;* Strong written and verbal English communication skills</p><div><div class=\"fr-view\"><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
