In this role, you’ll help keep our resort running smoothly by supporting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting repairs, and responding to guest needs with confidence and professionalism.</p><p>You will embody Westgate’s core values of&#xa0;<strong>Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic</strong>&#xa0;in everything you do while shaping the culture and performance of the department. When you join, you become part of a company that values&#xa0;<strong>hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and professional growth</strong>.</p><p>As the<strong>&#xa0;Maintenance Technician&#xa0;1,</strong>&#xa0;you will:</p><ul><li>Execute engineering and maintenance projects assigned by resort leadership with efficiency and attention to detail.</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance to keep resort facilities and equipment running at their best.</li><li>Complete basic upkeep tasks such as painting, caulking, and repairing wall damage.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues involving toilets, tubs, jacuzzis, showers, faucets, and sinks.</li><li>Reset breakers and GFCIs, replace bulbs, and use voltage‑testing tools for basic electrical needs.</li><li>Install, replace, and troubleshoot TVs, remotes, and related electronics.</li><li>Diagnose and repair appliances, replace minor parts, and assist with full appliance swaps.</li><li>Support procurement and inventory efforts to ensure materials and tools are readily available.</li><li>Use resort systems and software (including HotSOS) for communication and work reporting.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, identify hazards proactively, and help maintain a safe environment.</li><li>Take on additional tasks as assigned by leadership.</li></ul>",
