          "text": "<p>&#xa0;</p><p>Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) is seeking physicians to join their collegial hospitalist team which is comprised of family medicine physicians with an interest for inpatient care, and internists.&#xa0;The program currently consists of five hospitalist lines covering 7-15 acute patients. The standard work week is 7 days on and 7 days off; however, open to discuss alternative scheduling such as weekend coverage, evening/overnight shifts, partial weeks, half days, etc. VRH is a close knit and very collegial site, providing ample support and a rewarding work experience.&#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>VRH opened its doors to patients in 1992. The hospital serves the people of Kings and Annapolis Counties, and provides specialty services as a referral centre for the Annapolis Valley and other areas of Western Nova Scotia.&#xa0;Located in Kentville, VRH is a 137 inpatient bed facility that provides inpatient, outpatient, and satellite care to approximately 80,000 residents. The facility&#xa0;completes approximately 5,800 cases/year with 800 deliveries/year. There is a full surgical program with after-hours surgical coverage for emergency and non-elective procedures.</p><p>&#xa0;</p>",
