    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p><span lang=\"RU\">Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of surgical care of team-specific patients and staff in Surgery</span> including OR, PACU and Sterile Processing and reports <span lang=\"RU\">directly to the&nbsp;</span>Manager <span lang=\"RU\">of Surgical Services.&nbsp;</span></p><p>T<span lang=\"RU\">he Surgery&nbsp;</span>RN <span lang=\"RU\">Supervisor provides leadership&nbsp;</span>RN, Surgical Technicians, and other staff <span lang=\"RU\">through effective planning, communication, mentoring, teaching, and continuous quality improvement efforts for the Willmar Surgery Center.&nbsp;</span></p><p>Responsibilities for the RN Supervisor include:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>A<span lang=\"RU\">ssigns and delegates patient care according to staff members' skill levels, experience, and patient acuity through fiscal accountability while ensuring adequacy of resources.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"RU\">Shares unit responsibility for leadership, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"RU\">Makes decisions, considering the impact to the clinic, hospital, and other departments.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"RU\">Supports and leads change.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"RU\">Participates in creating department goals, objectives, standards of nursing practice/care, policies, and procedures, and supports their ongoing implementation and evaluation. Serves as a communication link between department leadership and staff, actively problem solves, provides accurate ongoing daily communication.&nbsp;</span></li><li><span lang=\"RU\">Promotes public relations to establish&nbsp;</span>the department <span lang=\"RU\">as a provider of choice in central Minnesota.</span></li><li>Has<span lang=\"RU\"> accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating nursing care.&nbsp;</span></li><li>C<span lang=\"RU\">ollaborates and provides professional nursing care in accordance with established organizational policies, procedures, protocols, and the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards of Practice.&nbsp;</span></li><li>P<span lang=\"RU\">rovides leadership through effective communication, mentoring, teaching, and continuous quality improvement efforts.&nbsp;</span></li><li>D<span lang=\"RU\">elegates care according to skill level, experience, acuity, fiscal accountability, and adequacy of resources.
