The MRI technologist works under general supervision in performing a variety of exams and procedures according to departmental protocol, as requested by physician order. The technologist will position the patient’s body part for imaging and set appropriate technical factors on the imaging equipment with a high degree of competency to ensure production of quality images for interpretation by the radiologist.</p><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h3><p style=\"font-size: 12px; margin: 4px 0px;\"><strong>Education:</strong> High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an accredited school for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.</p><p style=\"font-size: 12px; margin: 4px 0px;\"><strong>Experience:</strong> 2 years of healthcare experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.</p><p style=\"font-size: 12px; margin: 4px 0px;\"><strong>Licensure:</strong> ARRT or ARMRIT Registered in MRI, or eligible. Registry must be completed within 12 months of hire.</p><p style=\"font-size: 12px; margin: 4px 0px;\"><strong>Additional Skills/Requirements Required:</strong> Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communications. Ability to work in a stressful environment.
