    "description": "<p><span>BGM is seeking bright, motivated, and service-minded accounting students for our Tax Season Internship Program.  We believe that internships during our peak season provide the most meaningful work experience, so our 2027 Internship Program will run from January 2027 through mid April 2027.  </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Our Internship Program is designed for you to assist and provide audit and tax services to clients, with a primary focus on gaining exposure to a particular industry.  Throughout your internship, you will be partnered with team members in varying roles of the Firm to help foster your success, ensure your assimilation into the Firm, and provide you with ongoing feedback on your job performance.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As an Intern, you will:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assist with the detail work of audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance services for clients;</span></li>\n<li><span>Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated efforts, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies;</span></li>\n<li><span>Support multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress and audit results to supervisors;</span></li>\n<li><span>Prepare tax returns and reviews with the tax team;</span></li>\n<li><span>Complete tax related research and special projects as needed;</span></li>\n<li><span>Gain experience, exposure, and knowledge in one or more industries;</span></li>\n<li>E<span>xpand industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, internal experts, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Based on performance, career goals, and business conditions, you could walk away with a full-time job offer.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who is our Ideal Intern?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>First and foremost, our ideal Intern will possess the ability to work with our Core Values at the heart of everything you do.  These values are:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>I<span>ntegrity first</span></li>\n<li><span>Service above self</span></li>\n<li><span>Concern for team members</span></li>\n<li><span>Entrepreneurial spirit</span></li>\n<li><span>Quality and timely results</span></li>\n<li><span>Innovative and creative solutions</span></li>\n<li><span>Balance of life</span></li>\n<li><span>Caring client relationships</span></li>\n<li><span>Embrace change and constant learning</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">In addition, we are looking for Interns who are:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting</span></li>\n<li><span>Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher</span></li>\n<li><span>On-track to graduate with 150 credits</span></li>\n<li><span>A Junior, Senior or high status</span></li>\n<li><span>Customer service minded, and have experience working in some form of a customer service role</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to work a minimum of 55 hours per week during the Internship</span></li>\n<li><span>Able to work effectively both on a team and independently</span></li>\n<li><span>Enthusiastic and willing to learn</span></li>\n<li><span>Have strong verbal and written communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Residing in the Bloomington, MN area during the internship</span></li>\n<li>A<span>uthorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who is BGM?</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">BGM offers entrepreneurs, business owners, organizations and individuals a wide range of advisory, audit, accounting and tax services to meet business and personal needs.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333\">We don’t just solve problems, we anticipate needs.
