Together, the university’s community of doers, makers, healers, and innovators empowers graduates to change the world, solve 21st-century challenges, and reinvent the future.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>For more information, visit nyit.edu.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>New YorkTech College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Assistant Professor located in the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Serving as an instructor in the Doctor-Patient Relationship Lab</li>\n <li>Serving as an instructor in the Simulation Lab</li>\n <li>Serving as an instructor in population health related courses</li>\n <li>Serving as an instructor in the case base learning course</li>\n <li>Serving as a mentor and/or applicant interviewer</li>\n <li>Participation in pre-clinical lectures and group-based discussions.</li>\n <li>Participation in other college labs (i.e. Anatomy, OMM) based on individual skill level</li>\n <li>Other duties assigned for the department and/or college as the need arise</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>D.O. or M.D. degree from a COCA or LCME approved school of osteopathic medicine.</li>\n <li>Board Certified or Board Eligible. Current, Unrestricted Arkansas State Medical License.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and timely responses by email communication. Strong team player with a positive demeanor.</li>\n <li>Commitment to company values.</li>\n <li>Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preference may be given to applicants who possess any or all  of the following skills or attributes: General knowledge in primary care and rural medicine. Current proficiency (or ability to develop proficiency) in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine theory and techniques.
