Across Northwest Florida, our services range from residential treatment to outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 support for those with serious mental illnesses. Learn more at eLakeviewCenter.org.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Level I internships are observation-based learning experiences designed to provide introductory exposure to behavioral health services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional workplace practices within a healthcare environment.</p>\n<p>This level is intended for students seeking introductory experience through observation, shadowing, and supervised participation in approved activities. Interns will gain insight into behavioral healthcare operations while developing professional communication, ethical awareness, and workplace readiness skills.</p>\n<p>Educational pathways for Level I interns may include, but not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Social Work Students</li>\n <li>Nursing Students</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Internship opportunities are based on departmental availability and supervisory capacity. Placement is not guaranteed.</p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<p>Prospective interns should demonstrate that they have acquired the competencies for the&nbsp;internship program and that they are ready to apply and further develop these skills during&nbsp;the internship period.
