The role will work closely with the TMs, AVPs, RVPs across assigned regions. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for new & renewal accounts which focus on underwriting and pricing risks in accordance with BMP’s business rules and personal underwriting authority. </li>\n <li>Ownership of the lifecycle of the submission includes quoting, filing all relevant documents, binding, issuing and obtaining signed and executed applications. </li>\n <li>Support consistent underwriting best practices, in accordance with underwriting guidelines, to ensure rating, pricing, profitability, and structuring adequacy.</li>\n <li>Assist underwriters in executing on strategic initiatives. Provide support and develop solutions to their issues/concerns (system, guidelines, training, reports, new project request, product amendments).</li>\n <li>Identify the need for and manage special underwriting projects as needed.</li>\n <li>Fully engage with agency personnel by providing superior customer service.  </li>\n <li>Work closely with the TMs, AVPs and RVPs to establish and implement a sales culture. In collaboration with TMs, AVPs and RVPs, creates the workflow that will establish the best user experience for the independent agent in the onboarding process. </li>\n <li>Establish strong relationships with agents by driving mutually beneficial results through agency planning, production and growth.</li>\n <li>Monitor competitor’s offerings and emerging industry issues.</li>\n <li>Embrace relevant technology and actively improves skillset through formal and informal learning.</li>\n <li>Serves as a resource for new and innovative ideas to continually challenge the status quo.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of management liability underwriting or related experience at an insurance company or agency or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n  <ul>\n   <li>Experience contributing on a high performing marketing/ sales team in a high growth, fast paced environment.</li>\n   <li>Advanced product knowledge within the Management Liability suite of products (D&O, Cyber, EPL, Crime, Fiduciary, and MPL).</li>\n   <li>Empathy and understanding of the needs of our independent agents.
