          "text": "<p>Link Solutions is seeking a <strong>Systems Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME)&#xa0;</strong>to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ.</p><ul><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen&#xa0;</li><li>Secret Clearance required</li><li>IAT Level III Certification required</li><li>Non-remote&#xa0;(relocation incentive&#xa0;available)</li></ul><p>The <strong>Systems Engineer</strong>&#xa0;will provide support for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) Center on Fort Huachuca, ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient operation of critical enterprise systems across Army networks.</p><p>This role requires deep technical proficiency in systems engineering, virtualization technologies, infrastructure management, and security hardening. The candidate will lead system‑focused projects, guide infrastructure modernization initiatives, and provide advanced expertise in maintaining highly available, compliant, and mission‑ready enterprise systems.</p><p>Join a dynamic team at a top‑tier organization where work‑life balance and employee well‑being matter. You will contribute to high‑impact projects that support national defense and enable enterprise‑level technological advancement.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Support the design, architecture, and modernization of enterprise systems and infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Develop scalable, secure, and resilient system designs that meet mission requirements.</li><li>Participate in system upgrade, migration, deployment, and enhancement projects.</li><li>Install, configure, and manage highly available and scalable virtual infrastructures.</li><li>Provide planning, configuration, and upgrade support for VMware vCenter Server and ESXi clusters (7.x/8.x).</li><li>Provision, administer, and maintain virtual machines and virtual applications.</li><li>Monitor vSphere/vCenter environments, alarms, and overall system health.</li><li>Apply and maintain IAVMs, STIGs, patches, bug fixes, and security controls across multiple platforms.</li><li>Maintain, support, and troubleshoot enterprise systems, resolving complex infrastructure issues.</li><li>Implement redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery strategies for system continuity.</li><li>Maintain accurate system documentation, including diagrams, configuration records, and procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with security, network, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure and integrated system operations.</li><li>Conduct capacity planning, performance reviews, and full lifecycle management.</li><li>Mentor junior team members and provide SME‑level guidance across system engineering domains.</li><li>Recommend and evaluate new technologies, tools, and modernization strategies.</li><li>Support automation initiatives and process improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.</li></ul><p><em>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.</em></p>",

          "text": "<ul><li>U.S. citizen with an active secret clearance.</li><li>IAT Level III&#xa0;certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, etc).</li><li>Twelve (12+) years of directly related systems engineering experience.</li><li>BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.</li><li>Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent (Juniper Specialist/Associate acceptable)</li><li>Experience ensuring&#xa0;systems meet cybersecurity, operational readiness, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Expert‑level troubleshooting skills for complex, multi‑vendor network environments (Tier III support).</li><li>Advanced hands-on expertise with enterprise networking technologies (Cisco, Palo Alto, routing/switching, VPN, BGP/MPLS).</li><li>Strong knowledge of network security hardening, compliance standards, and secure configuration practices (STIGs, NIST, IPSec/TLS).</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.</li><li>Problem solver and troubleshooter&#xa0;who thrives in resolving&#xa0;complex problems.</li><li>Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision.</li><li>Experience providing quality service and support for mission-critical systems and VIP end users.&#xa0;</li><li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.&#xa0;</li><li>Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.</li></ul>",
