(SSAI) is seeking an experienced Image Processing Scientist to operationalize satellite-based image processing systems through multi-sensor data.<ul><li data-pasted=\"true\">Develop and implement Satellite Derived Bathymetry (SDB) products using various imagery sources, methods, and tools. Imagery will include commercial and Landsat data.</li><li>Conduct verification and field data collection for SDB products</li><li>Harmonize and integrate multi-sensor satellite imagery with varying characteristics and resolutions</li><li>Perform radiometric, atmospheric, spectral, and geometric image corrections and calibrations</li><li>Design and deploy large-scale end-to-end image processing workflows and automation solutions</li><li>Analyze workflow outputs and generate operational environmental monitoring products from satellite data</li><li>Research and develop innovative methods for satellite data applications and emerging missions</li><li>Apply expertise in electro-optical satellite systems, sensor characterization, and imagery validation procedures</li><li>Conduct commercial satellite data analysis while supporting industry and stakeholder requirements</li><li>Contribute to proposals, funding efforts, technical documentation, publications, and conference presentations</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>PHD in technical field related to Remote Sensing.</li><li>Experience over 25 years Knowledge</li><li>In-depth knowledge of remote sensing, physical geography/ecology, with image analysis/interpretation/processing and programming skills.</li><li>Working in a teamwork environment and being able to take direction/feedback from multiple people with effective communication of technical information, both written and oral is required.</li><li>Ability to develop, implement, and optimize complex image processing algorithms.</li><li>Skills in designing and deploying large-scale automated workflows across multiple computing environments.</li><li>Competency in machine learning and deep learning framework implementation.</li><li>Skills in conducting independent research and developing innovative methodologies.</li><li>Ability to write high-impact peer-reviewed publications and technical documentation.</li><li>Proficiency in developing compelling figures, graphics, and visualizations for proposals and publications.</li><li>U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.</li></ul><p><strong data-pasted=\"true\">Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience preparing and presenting to a technical audience.</li><li>Proficiency in Python, R, and shell scripting for geospatial data analysis</li></ul><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\" style='box-sizing: border-box;
