Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p>General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Program Manager, Space Ground Systems. The position provides an opportunity for a leadership role in RF and Optical satellite ground entry point and ultra high-performance modem development programs. The Space Ground Systems Program Manager is proficient in program management, encompassing the development of cohesive plans, adherence to budgets and schedules, and the ability to analyze financial data and communicate effectively with stakeholders, with strong leadership and negotiation skills, a deep understanding of product applications, customer markets, and business strategies, and the capacity to drive new business development and foster team growth.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The responsibility is career-defining. The Program Manager will identify needed resources for projects, define and assign major program roles, lead the establishment of and sets integrated WBS-based budget and schedule baselines, and monitor work accomplished to baseline plans to ensure rate of work completion is sufficient to meet program/product schedules.
