Burrtec is a well-established refuse and recycling collection company serving over fifteen municipalities throughout Southern California and employing over 1400 full-time employees. We have the following position at our Fontana Hauling division: Yardman The Yard Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the shop and yard area. SALARY RANGE: $19.00/hour - $22.15/hour ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Division yard cleaning and organization activities. Barrel and Bin Cleaning Repairs (barrels only and assist welder with bins as needed) Container inventory & organization Janitorial cleaning (vacuuming, restroom cleaning, empty trash containers, etc) Parking lot and entryway cleaning Landscape cleaning (weeding, shrubs, trees, and grass areas) SWPPP Maintenance & Litter Control (on-site BMPs) – Daily Perform other duties as assigned The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Minimum of 1 year experience working in a safety-sensitive environment. PHYSICAL: Ability to make sound judgment. Ability to stand continuously during assigned shift and lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to stand, bend, squat and kneel.
