This position plays a vital role in the health and well-being of the animals in our care by maintaining a clean environment, providing daily animal care, and assisting customers and visitors.</span></p>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent attendance, good customer service skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. This is a hands-on position that includes cleaning kennels, working directly with animals, assisting with playgroups, and supporting daily shelter operations. If you are not afraid to get a little messy and are passionate about helping animals, we would love to meet you.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Schedule</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Both Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities may be available.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Full-Time</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>40 hours per week</span></li>\n<li><span>Schedule may consist of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, depending on department needs</span></li>\n<li><span>Weekday hours are generally between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Part-Time</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Hours vary based on department needs</span></li>\n<li><span>May include morning cleaning shifts and/or weekend-only shifts</span></li>\n<li><span>Weekday hours are generally between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Weekend Hours</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Saturday: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.</span></li>\n<li><span>Sunday: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Candidate availability will be considered during the hiring process. Applicants will be asked about their availability and desired number of hours per week during the application process.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Compensation</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span>Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\"><span>Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span>Animal Care</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Clean kennels and animal housing areas daily according to shelter protocols</span></li>\n<li><span>Feed animals and monitor appetite, hydration, stool quality, and overall health</span></li>\n<li><span>Report concerns regarding animal health or behavior</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span>Playgroups &amp; Enrichment</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Assist with daily dog playgroups and enrichment activities</span></li>\n<li><span>Help group, supervise, and monitor dogs during play sessions</span></li>\n<li><span>Observe and communicate behavior concerns to appropriate staff</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span>Support</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Move animals throughout the shelter as needed</span></li>\n<li><span>Collect fecal and urine samples when required</span></li>\n<li><span>Enter information accurately into shelter software systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with daily shelter operations and special projects</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span>Communication &amp;
