With locations in Calgary, Canada, Coburg, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona.<p>We offer a clean and safe work environment. &nbsp;We provide benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid vacation and holidays.</p><p><strong>Shift Openings</strong></p><p>We are currently taking applications for production workers in the below areas:</p><ul><li>Extrusion Area<ul><li>Saw Helper - Day Shift - Mon-Thur 7am-5pm</li><li>Saw Helper - Graveyard Shift - Mon-Thur 9pm-7am (Monday start)</li><li>Saw Helper - Weekend Shift - Fri-Sat 7am-7pm (with overtime after 10 hours - work 36 hours, get paid for 39)</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Saw Helper works with another Saw Helper and a Saw Operator to move extruded aluminum pieces and arrange them for oven preparation, while keeping an eye out for and reporting quality defects.</p><strong>General Duties and responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Work with large industrial equipment and drive a forklift.</li><li>Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.</li><li>Adhere and promote all safety requirements.</li><li>Read and understand dimensional prints.</li><li>Operate measuring devices to ensure quality compliance.</li><li>Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system.</li><li>Clean up scrap materials.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>&nbsp; <strong>Skills</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>High degree of accountability.</li><li>Detailed oriented individual able to frequently perform multiple tasks at a given time. &nbsp;</li><li>Able to independently perform simple calculations.</li><li>Communicate well and interact with others effectively.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent.</li><li>Manufacturing/Production experience preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>&nbsp;Working Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Exposed to a production environment which includes noise, moving machinery, forklifts and fluctuations in temperature.</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Overtime may be expected based on production requirements.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and ability to lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.</li></ul><p>APEL Extrusions Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.</p><p>No phone inquiries, please.</p></div></div></div>\n",
