    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Rancheria Security Officer is responsible for understanding and complying with Company and Security department policies and procedures. The primary responsibilities include maintaining and securing Rancheria Reservation fixed post entry gates, off site properties, access to remote Reservation areas and dispatching calls for the appropriate personnel to these areas.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform security patrols; enforce Rancheria badge procedures, protect JRCR / Rancheria property from unlawful trespassers, theft, sabotage, fire and accidents. </li>\n <li>Provide needed assistance to customers, employees and visitors. </li>\n <li>Enforcement of Rancheria rules and regulations by both customers and employees.</li>\n <li>May be required to secure transportation of money between departments or outside of secured areas to Main Bank in Casino. May be required to assist in various types of money drops (from outside Casino departments, such as R.V. Park, General Store, etc.)</li>\n <li>Able to respond to emergencies, problems and disputes when needed.</li>\n <li>Required to review all company/department policies and procedures and required to know / learn standard and custom radio codes.</li>\n <li>Required to know the location of all departments and emergency exits and posts in the event of an emergency.</li>\n <li>Operate telephones.</li>\n <li>May be required to dispatch personnel when working posts.</li>\n <li>May establish and maintain record and identification systems;</li>\n <li>Generates incident and information reports.</li>\n <li>Keeps equipment in good working condition.</li>\n <li>Other duties may be assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p>\n<p>Required to perform this job:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ca. Class C Drivers license required - Must be vehicle insurable through JRCR’s Agent</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Pay range: $19.00 - $24.70 per hour</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <em><strong>*Shift Differential: </strong>Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is not a smoke free workplace.</strong>  Although we employ state-of-the-art air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment</p>",
