This is a great opportunity for a pharmacist with a retail Pharmacy background and an active NE Pharmacist license to work with a great team of pharmacy professionals. VytlOne manages pharmacies across the nation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>Candidate must be able to cover on a flexible, as-needed basis. Medical, dental, behavioral, and outreach services are coordinated together to ensure patient care is comprehensive and affordable.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (These duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation. This document in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Interpret and fill drug orders.</li>\n <li>Provide patient information and counseling.</li>\n <li>In the absence of store Pharmacist-In-Charge/Pharmacy Manager, may be required to act as the alternate store leader, responsible for managing ongoing functions of the pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Contact and confer with physicians regarding questions or irregularities on prescriptions.</li>\n <li>Dispense prescriptions, compound, and prepare I.V. admixtures (if applicable).</li>\n <li>Monitor drug therapy for contraindications, interactions, allergies and appropriateness.</li>\n <li>Maintain patients’ medication records.</li>\n <li>Maintain inventory and records of controlled drugs and other drugs as required by law.</li>\n <li>Supervise pharmacy technicians in routine performance of their duties.</li>\n <li>Provide drug information to professional staff and patients as necessary.</li>\n <li>Participate in inventory control programs such as ordering, inventorying and monitoring correct pricing and quantities.</li>\n <li>Attend and participate in programs, committees, meetings, and functions as required by the facility or pharmacy.</li>\n <li>Participate in educational programs for professional staff as necessary.</li>\n <li>Participate in pharmacy orientation programs, pharmacy staff meetings and in-service educational programs.</li>\n <li>Participate in activities resolving unsafe and unsanitary practices.</li>\n <li>Exemplify excellence in customer communications and service.</li>\n <li>Work cooperatively with other staff members to enhance the team concept.</li>\n <li>Participate in the Performance Improvement Program.</li>\n <li>Maintains regular attendance in accordance with established policies.</li>\n <li>Promptly report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.</li>\n <li>Comply with Maxor’s Ethical Business Conduct policy and Maxor’s Compliance Program.</li>\n <li>Remain free from exclusion under the OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree, or Pharm. D. (preferred), from an approved school of pharmacy</li>\n <li>Clear/Current <strong>NE </strong>Pharmacist License . Must not have disciplines on license with NE BOP.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>One-year experience as a practicing pharmacist is preferred</li>\n <li>Bilingual Spanish is a plus, but not required</li>\n <li>Knowledge of drugs and their indications, contraindications, dosing, side effects, and proper administration.</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of polices and regulations pertaining to the disbursement of pharmaceutical drugs.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.</li>\n <li>Ability to supervise and train assigned staff.</li>\n <li>Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.</li>\n <li>Ability to assume essential responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager</li>\n</ul>\n<p>--</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Why VytlOne?</strong></p>\n<p>Did you know that patients see their pharmacist an average of 12 times a year?
